The Importance of Orthodontics

When teeth are crowded, maintaining oral hygiene is more difficult, which makes gum disease and cavities more likely to develop. When the teeth are crowded and the joint relationship is disturbed, chewing cannot be performed properly and problems begin in the digestive system. In cases where the upper and lower teeth are not fully compatible with each other, the jaw joint or a single tooth can become overloaded, leading to painful problems that are difficult to treat.
